My Background

My name is Ir. Don Laught (pronounced “Laught”, like the “aught” in caught). I come from a professional management background, but a passionate musician at heart—especially when it comes to guitar. Music has long been my creative outlet, and through travel and content creation, I explore sounds, stories, and musicians across borders—spotlighting both celebrated and overlooked artists with a focus on depth, context, and meaningful storytelling.

Creating music, travelling, and building content taught me one thing: Money Matters!

I see money as a tool that creates freedom - to explore, build, and give back. I’m currently on the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) path, sharing what I learn - especially with communities in Sarawak, Malaysia and ASEAN.
